World Circus Day is celebrated annually on April 19th to honor and promote the art of circus and its cultural significance around the world. This international day recognizes the rich heritage and ongoing evolution of circus arts as an important form of cultural expression. World Circus Day observes:

The day was established by the Fédération Mondiale du Cirque (World Circus Federation) under the patronage of Princess Stéphanie of Monaco. Since its inception, circus communities, schools, and enthusiasts worldwide have organized special performances, workshops, open days, and other events to mark the occasion. World Circus Day celebrates the creativity, physical skill, and artistic expression that circus arts represent, highlighting their value as a universal art form that transcends cultural and linguistic barriers.
